The difference between Q235A and Q235B lies primarily in their carbon content, as both are classified under carbon steels according to the national standard GB700-88. Q235A material features a carbon content ranging between 0.14-0.22%;
Typically, steel manufacturers label finished profiles on identification plates prior to dispatch from the factory, enabling users to determine if the material is Q235A, Q235B, or another type. Design pressure is P≤1.6MPa, with a usage temperature between 0~350ºC, and steel plate thickness must be >=20mm.
