The difference between Q235A and Q235B: Both are types of carbon steel. According to the national standard GB700-88, the primary distinction between these materials lies in their carbon content. Q235A features a carbon content ranging from 0.14% to 0.22%.
Typically, steel mills label the finished profiles on identification plates before dispatch. By examining these plates, users can accurately determine if the material is Q235A, Q235B, or another variant. Key specifications include a design pressure of P≤1.6MPa, a working temperature range of 0~350ºC, and a minimum steel plate thickness of 20mm.
