What is Q235B steel?

The difference between Q235A and Q235B.
Q235A and Q235B, both carbon steels, differ primarily in carbon content as per the national standard GB700-88. The carbon content in Q235A ranges from 0.14-0.22%, distinguishing it from Q235B's composition.
Typically, finished steel profiles are marked on identification plates by steel mills before they leave the factory. This allows users to easily determine whether the material is Q235A, Q235B, or another type. It is suitable for applications with design pressure up to 1.6MPa and usage temperatures from 0 to 350ºC, with a minimum steel plate thickness of 20mm.
