Product Parameters

The raw material billets for producing channel steel are carbon-structured steel or low-alloy steel billets with a carbon content not exceeding 0.25%. The finished channel steel is available in hot-formed, normalized or hot-rolled state. Specifications are articulated in millimeters of waist height (h) * leg width (b) * waist thickness (d), such as 100*48*5.3, indicating a waist height of 100 mm, a leg width of 48 mm, and a waist thickness of 5.3 mm. Referred to as Steel or 10# channel steel, channels with identical waist height but varying leg widths and waist thicknesses are denoted with a, b, or c added to the model number, like 25#a, 25#b, 25#c, etc.
