What is pickling steel?
Pickling is an essential metal surface cleaning process, particularly after metal formation. This technique involves immersing the metal in a specialized acidic solution known as pickling liquor, which is tailored based on the metal type. For most low alloy steels, hydrochloric acid is the preferred choice. However, for metals that showcase significant resistance to acids, more potent acids or even a dual-step pickling procedure might be necessary to achieve optimal cleanliness.
How is pickling performed?
Before engaging in the pickling process, the metal undergoes a preliminary rinse to eliminate large debris and particles. Post-rinsing, it is submerged into the pickling liquor bath, where the acid efficiently eradicates surface impurities. The immersion is carefully timed to avoid excess acid exposure, ensuring surface irregularities are removed with minimal metal loss. Once the desired results are achieved, the metal is rinsed again and often undergoes a follow-up procedure known as oiling to enhance protection.
The Application of pickling steel

The carriage finds its application in the base of various truck carriages. Furthermore, other stamped parts such as anti-collision bumpers, brake brake sleeves, and other car interior components benefit greatly.
2, Machinery industry (excluding automobiles) sees extensive use of pickling steel. It plays a vital role in textile machinery, mining machinery, and fans, alongside general machinery components like compressor shells, brackets, and water heater liners. It is also key in manufacturing chemical oil drums.
3, Additional applications span a diverse range: other bicycle parts, various types of welded pipes, electrical cabinets, highway guardrails, supermarket shelves, warehouse racks, fences, iron ladders, and an assortment of stamping parts with varied shapes.

* The use of a surrounding protection plate around both internal and external sides ensures the integrity of the coil's form.
* Durable metal angle protection rings provided internally and externally, with one pair used per side, for reinforced protection.
