Electrogalvanization Process The process of electrogalvanization involves immersing raw metal into a specially prepared electrolytic solution. A pure zinc anode, charged electrically, is introduced into this solution. By allowing current to flow from the zinc anode, through the solution, and finally to the metal cathode, small zinc particles dissolve into the electrolytic solution, adhering to the metal surface. This not only provides a protective, thin coating, but also results in a shiny and aesthetically pleasing finish.
