The difference between Q235A and Q235B: Both are carbon steels under the national standard GB700-88. The primary distinction lies in their carbon content: Q235A contains 0.14-0.22% carbon, providing a subtle variance in material properties.
Typically, steel mills mark the finished profiles on identification plates before dispatch. These plates allow users to ascertain whether the material is Q235A, Q235B, or another type. Design parameters include pressure P≤1.6MPa, operational temperatures of 0~350ºC, and a minimum steel plate thickness of 20mm.
