Product Parameters
In application, Channel Steel is required to demonstrate excellent welding, riveting performance, and comprehensive mechanical properties. The raw material billets used in producing channel steel are carbon-structured steel or low-alloy steel billets with a carbon content of no more than 0.25%. The final channel steel is supplied in hot-formed, normalized, or hot-rolled states. Its specifications are measured in millimeters of waist height (h) * leg width (b) * waist thickness (d), such as 100*48*5.3, indicating a waist height of 100 mm, a leg width of 48 mm, and a waist thickness of 5.3 mm, also known as 10# channel steel. For channels with identical waist height, different leg widths and waist thicknesses are distinguished by appending a b c to the model, for example, 25#a 25#b 25#c, etc.
