What is pickling steel?
Pickling is a specialized metal surface cleaning technique applied primarily following the shaping of the metal. This process involves immersing the metal into a solution known as pickling liquor, which contains an acid tailored to the metal type. For most low alloy steels, hydrochloric acid is utilized. In instances where metals exhibit high acid resistance, a more potent acid or a dual-phase pickling approach may be necessary to achieve optimal cleanliness.
How is pickling performed?
The pickling process begins with an initial rinse of the metal to remove substantial dirt and debris. Post-rinse, the metal is submerged into the pickling liquor, where the acid efficiently eradicates surface impurities. After the designated immersion period, the metal is withdrawn to avoid excess acid exposure, thus ensuring minimal metal degradation while achieving a clean surface. The metal is then rinsed again and often undergoes an oiling process to protect the clean surface.

Additionally, it covers stamping parts like anti-collision bumpers, brake sleeves, and other interior car components.
2, Machinery industry (excluding automobiles) encompasses textile machinery, mining machinery, fans, and other general machinery components like compressor shells, brackets, and water heater liners, as well as chemical oil drums.
3, other applications include bicycle parts, various welded pipes, electrical cabinets, highway guardrails, supermarket and warehouse shelves, fences, iron ladders, and a multitude of stamped parts of diverse shapes.
