The difference between Q235A and Q235B: Both are carbon steels as specified in the national standard GB700-88. The primary distinction lies in their carbon content. Q235A features a carbon concentration ranging from 0.14% to 0.22%, offering varied properties.
Under conventional circumstances, steel mills distinctly mark the finished profiles on identification plates before dispatch. This allows users to identify if the material is Q235A, Q235B, or others right from the identification plate. Design parameters include a pressure P≤1.6MPa, temperature usage from 0 to 350ºC, and a steel plate thickness of at least 20mm.
