What is pickling steel?

The pickling process commences with rinsing the metal with a solution to eliminate larger particles of grime and residue. Following this, the metal is immersed in the pickling liquor bath, where the acid intricately cleanses the surface of impurities. Post-pickling, the metal undergoes another rinse and is often treated with an oiling process to enhance its finish.
