Q: How do you ensure the quality of your NM wear-resistant steel plates?
A: We only supply steel plates from top-tier Chinese mills (like Wugang, Xingcheng, Baosteel). Every plate comes with the Original Mill Test Certificate (MTC) that tracks the heat number, chemical composition, and mechanical properties. We also support Third-Party Inspection (like SGS, BV) before shipment to verify hardness and thickness.
Q: What is the difference between 400HBW and 500HBW? Which one should I choose?
A:400 HBW: Has good toughness and is easier to cut, bend, and weld. Ideal for structural parts that need moderate wear resistance, like truck bodies.
500 HBW: Much harder and more wear-resistant but harder to process. Best for parts facing severe abrasion, like crusher liners and cutting edges.
If you are not sure, tell us your application, and our engineers will recommend the best grade.
Q: Can you provide cutting and processing services?
A: Yes! Besides standard raw plates (2m x 6m or 2m x 12m), we have advanced CNC Laser and Plasma cutting machines. We can cut the plates into specific sizes, drill holes, or bend them according to your drawings.
Q: Your photos show 12-meter long plates. How do you ship them?
A: For standard 6-meter plates, we load them into 20ft containers.
For 12-meter long plates, we usually load them into 40ft Open Top containers or ship via Bulk Vessel to ensure safe unloading at your destination. We use strong steel strips for bundling to prevent damage.
Q: Can I order a small quantity for trial?
A: Yes, our MOQ is 3 Tons (approx. 1 piece of thick plate). We understand the need to test quality before bulk purchasing. However, for LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, the unit shipping cost might be slightly higher than Full Container orders.
