The difference between Q235A and Q235B.
The distinction between Q235A and Q235B steels lies in their carbon content, as specified by the national standard GB700-88. Both are carbon steels, but Q235A features a carbon content ranging from 0.14% to 0.22%;
Typically, steel mills label finished profiles on identification plates before dispatch. Users can determine if the material is Q235A, Q235B, or others via these plates. Design pressure P≤1.6MPa; operational temperature 0~350ºC; minimum steel plate thickness is 20mm.
