What is Q235B steel?

The difference between Q235A and Q235B.
The primary distinction between Q235A and Q235B, both of which are carbon steels, lies in their carbon content as per national standard GB700-88. Specifically, Q235A boasts a carbon content ranging from 0.14% to 0.22%.
Typically, steel mills label the finished profiles on identification plates prior to shipment. This allows users to easily discern whether the material is Q235A, Q235B, or another variant. It is designed for a pressure P≤1.6MPa and a temperature range of 0~350ºC, with a steel plate thickness requirement of at least 20mm.
