The difference between Q235A and Q235B.
Q235A and Q235B are both carbon steels, as defined by the national standard GB700-88. The primary distinction lies in their carbon content; Q235A contains 0.14-0.22% carbon.
Steel mills usually mark the finished profiles on identification plates before dispatching them from the factory. Users can easily verify whether the material is Q235A, Q235B, or another type by checking these plates. Specifications include design pressure P≤1.6MPa, operational temperature range between 0~350ºC, and a steel plate thickness of >=20mm.
