The difference between Q235A and Q235B.
The distinction between Q235A and Q235B carbon steels is primarily based on carbon content, according to national standard GB700-88. Q235A contains 0.14-0.22% carbon, differentiating it from Q235B.
Typically, steel mills label the finished profiles on identification plates before dispatch. Users can identify whether the material is Q235A, Q235B, or other grades based on this plate. Design pressure is P≤1.6MPa, suitable for use temperatures ranging from 0 to 350ºC, and steel plate thickness is >=20mm.
