The difference between Q235A and Q235B: Both are classified as carbon steels. According to the national standard GB700-88, the primary distinction lies in their carbon content. Q235A features a carbon content range of 0.14-0.22%.
In most scenarios, steel mills diligently mark identification plates on completed profiles before dispatching them from the factory. This allows users to determine if the material is Q235A, Q235B, or another variant. The design pressure is set to P≤1.6MPa, with operational temperatures ranging between 0-350ºC, and the steel plate thickness being at least 20mm.
