What is pickling steel?
Pickling is an essential metal surface cleaning process often employed post-metal formation. This technique involves immersing the metal in a potent acid solution, called pickling liquor, which effectively purges the metal surface of impurities. The acid type varies based on the metal's composition; typically, hydrochloric acid is used for low alloy steels. For metals with strong acid resistance, a more robust acid or a two-step pickling procedure may be necessary to ensure optimal cleaning results.
How is pickling performed?
The pickling process starts with rinsing the metal to eliminate significant dirt and debris particles. Post-rinsing, the metal submerges into a bath of pickling liquor, where the acid diligently removes contaminants. To prevent acid overexposure, the metal is extracted after a set immersion period. With the ideal pickling liquor and precise timing, surface imperfections are effectively eradicated, minimizing metal loss. Subsequently, the metal undergoes another rinse and often an oiling procedure to enhance protection.

Additionally, other stamped parts such as anti-collision bumpers, brake sleeves, and various small interior components.
2, Machinery industry (excluding automobiles) encompasses textile machinery, mining machinery, fans, and general machinery components like compressor shells, brackets, and water heater liners. Furthermore, chemical oil drums are significant applications.
3, Diverse applications cover bicycle parts, assorted welded pipes, electrical cabinets, highway guardrails, supermarket and storage shelves, fences, iron ladders, and various shaped stamping parts.
